Along with his incredibly skilled team, Dr. Nuveen looks forward to meeting brand new patients throughout Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding area. Throughout his flourishing career, he has performed more than 17,000 cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries for the face and body and helped patients with diverse needs and goals achieve stunning, natural-looking results.
EDUCATION and TRAINING
After receiving a bachelor's degree in biology from Lafayette College, Dr. Nuveen went on to earn a doctorate in dentistry from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a one-year residency at UCLA Medical Center with a focus on surgery and anesthesia. He spent the next five years honing his skills in maxillofacial surgery and training under leaders in the field of facial reconstruction. Dr. Nuveen then went on to earn his medical degree at the prestigious Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. After this accomplishment, he was accepted to a number of residencies, fellowships, and training programs, including ones for:
- Pediatric craniofacial surgery
- Cosmetic surgery
- Micro-vascular surgery
- General surgery
All of this experience culminated in nine years of surgical training.
Specialties and Expertise
With two doctorate degrees (one in medicine and one in dentistry), Dr. Nuveen has a comprehensive knowledge of health and wellness. His specialties include procedures for the breast, body, and face with a special focus on facial plastic surgery. Some of Dr. Nuveen's most popular services include nose reshaping procedures (such as rhinoplasty and septoplasty), augmentation of the breasts, cheeks, and chin, liposuction, tummy tuck, fat transfer (namely the Brazilian butt lift), and many more. Thanks to his one-of-a-kind maxillofacial training and knowledge, he is especially renowned for his work with facial enhancements.

PERSONAL
When he's not hard at work in the office, Dr. Nuveen keeps himself busy by spending time with his son, Diederik. He also enjoys taking on property and home restoration projects, as well as automobile restorations and modifications. Dr. Nuveen received his certification as an instrument-rated pilot in 2007.
